DR. DEWEY ERTZ

Dr. Ertz began providing mental-health services in 1974. He is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe in north central South Dakota. He is the current Chairperson of the Great Plains Region Indian Health Services Institutional Review Board (IRB), and he is a member of the National Indian Health Service IRB. He provides expert consultation to the AKA team and clients in the areas of clinical treatment, culturally-centered care, community-based approaches to healing, and instrument development and design.
